SC 2004 Conference: OptIPuter-Related Activities
Supercomputing 2004
Pittsburgh, PA

The OptIPuter project was the only group invited to do demonstrations in the National LamdaRail (NLR) booth at SC 2004. NLR also provided OptIPuter with dedicated bandwidth between Chicago and Pittsburgh, enabling demos from UCSD and from UIC, and between McLean, Virginia, and Pittsburgh; the latter was used by new OptIPuter affiliate partner NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. The OptIPuter visualization cluster and 30 Megapixel tiled display were used by several groups to do demos.
